Round 18 · 14a, smoothed
Three smooth versions of the rising line
These keep the same stroke, colors and lockups as 14a, with curves in place of the sharp corners.
18aSmooth lineSelected
The same path as 14a, with the joins rounded into curves: a rise, a small dip, then a strong climb.
Crest
Crest
18bSoft wave
A gentler dip and a longer climb, with the ends kept level. The calmest option, and closest to a wave crest.
Crest

18cSingle curve
No dip, just one confident upward sweep. It’s the simplest, and the clearest at 28px.

Round 17 · Lowercase gamma (γ)
Six gamma monograms, no loop
Each gamma is custom-drawn rather than typed, because Newsreader has no Greek letters. None has the closed loop at the bottom, and none sits inside a shape: the letter stands alone, and the tile appears only where an app icon needs one.
17aMonoline
An even-weight stroke with round ends. The left arm curves down into the stem, and there’s no loop. Calm and modern.

17bHigh contrast
A thin curved left arm and a heavy right stroke into the stem, like a serif typeface. The most traditional of the set.
CRESTPERSONAL FINANCE
CREST
17cSerifed
Monoline with small flat serifs at the top ends and a foot at the base. It reads as engraved or institutional.

17dItalic lean
The monoline form leaning about 12°. It suggests forward motion, while staying simple and solid.
CRESTPERSONAL FINANCE

17eSharp
Square ends and mitred joins: crisp and architectural. The most "solid" silhouette at small sizes.
CRESTPERSONAL FINANCE

17fHeavy
A thick monoline with a short stem, so it fills more of the icon. Bold and confident, like a stamp.

Round 16 · Monograms
Nine monogram variations
All built on the Newsreader C from 15e, with the same deep green and cream. They vary the container (square, circle, octagon, arch, frame), the letterform (italic, ligature) and one small detail each.
16aSquare, sharp
The 15e baseline refined: sharp corners, and a C slightly heavier and larger in the frame. Plain and authoritative.

Round 15 · Conservative, solid, trusted
Six established-looking marks
Heavier, symmetrical shapes that borrow from banking and heraldry. The palette shifts to the theme's deepest green (#1F3701) on cream, and the wordmark is set in spaced serif capitals. The lighter directions from round 14 are still below for comparison.
15aSolid shield
A filled shield with a serif C cut out of it. The classic banking and insurance shape: steady and protective.

Round 14 · App logo
Six directions for the Crest mark
Each is shown as an app icon on light and dark, at small sizes down to 28px, and as a wordmark lockup. All use your Material theme colors. These are starting points: once you pick one, I'll refine its proportions and export clean SVG files.
14aRising line
A line chart climbing to a peak. It reads as "measured, then managed", which ties it to the new tagline.

14bWave crest
A single curling wave for the literal "crest". Calm and organic, and less finance-generic.
